EXPERIENCE

Founder and Creative Director

BYDETROIT®

London, UK

  • In 2018, Detroit Dyer-Miller founded BYDETROIT®, a creative agency that provides design and branding services to businesses and individuals. As the Creative Director, he oversees all aspects of the agency's work, ensuring that each project is a unique and authentic representation of the client's vision.

Art Director

MNTGE

London, UK + Los Angeles, US

  • Detroit Dyer-Miller helped define MNTGE's visual direction + created a world-building formula for their physical/digital products through 3D animation. He focused on creating an experience that didn't stop at VFX on top of a garment, instead taking it further through journeying into the clothing.
  • At a later date, he was also leading the design of the physical garments, consisting of graphic prints, embroidered patches, collaborative designs with notable figures in fashion, music and art (Gucci, Snoop Dogg, Larry June etc.), and the ideation of other garments.

Designer & Creative Director

Internet Money

London, UK + Los Angeles, US

  • Starting off as a designer, Detroit created cover artworks for various musicians under Internet Money such as Gunna, Don Toliver and NAV for the US+UK No.1 hit single "Lemonade". Over this time, he also worked on titles for music videos, notably Juice WRLD's "Conversations" and many more cover artworks.
  • He then stepped into the creative director role after rebranding the entire label. Detroit redesigned the Internet Money logo, which then lead to new merchandise and cover artworks with the new branding incorporated. This lead to its feature on the cover of their next EP "We All We Got" featuring artists like Ken Carson, Lil Yachty, Lucki, YEAT and more.
